Paul Rowe turned (Vernon) 20 in February, joining a small but very illustrious group of 20 year old Vernonites. Staff past and present celebrated this incredible milestone by having royalty themed dinner at a local restaurant where Prince Paul of Vernon was officially honoured.

Paul and Darren attended the annual Museums and the Web conference, this year held in Denver, Colorado. It was a chance to hear some great presentations, particularly on content for mobile devices and trends in presenting collections online.

Paul attended the Australasian Registrars Committee conference. For the first time the conference was held in New Zealand, based at the Christchurch Art Gallery.

Abbey and Paul attended New Zealand's annual National Digital Forum on November 23rd and 24th 2009 in Wellington. This year the Museum of New Zealand, Te Papa Tongarewa, was the host venue. The National Digital Forum (NDF) is a coalition of organisations across New Zealand Aotearoa with an interest in digital resources. These organisations include museums, archives, art galleries, libraries and government departments.
