Vernon Systems and Smarttrack RFID are pleased to announce that they have successfully completed a project enabling automated integration of their respective systems.  By integrating with Smarttrack RFID technology, Vernon system users will be able to fast-track collection audits and stock-takes, improve collection preservation through reduced handling, quickly and easily find misplaced items, and automatically track their movement, and have this information automatically updated in the Vernon system.

The current release of vernon CMS v5.0.14 is available for you to download on the User Forum. We are currently finalising the upgrade program for Version 6.0 and expect it to be ready for Beta testing later next month.

Welcome to Vernon Systems' new look website. We hope you find the cleaner look easier to see and navigate.

The new website is built using a content management system that allows it to be maintained by all VSL staff (not just the techies!). As a result you should find that the website is a lot more dynamic and up to date. So check back often for the latest Vernon news.

Vernon Systems presence in South Africa grows.

Vernon Systems Ltd (VSL) is well-known internationally for fully integrated Collections Management Software. We are pleased to announce that we now have five South African client sites. The East London Museum, Freedom Park Trust, the Klerksdorp Museum, University of South Africa and the University of Witwatersrand have all chosen to implement Vernon CMS software, a system designed to conform to the most robust and rigorous standards yet developed within the museums sector.
